My Story
My name is Heather. And I am not your typical massage therapist. After 30 years of experience and thousands of clients, I have learned that massage therapy is SO MUCH more than a relaxing experience at a spa. I see soft tissue as more than merely a physical element but as a deeply complex, neurologically driven part of who you are. I use this knowledge to work WITH you — not ON you — to create change that works. This is the basis of my approach.
About me
Heather
I am very passionate about my work and have been in practice for over 30 years, specialising in remedial deep tissue work, injuries, chronic imbalances, and holistic relaxation. I use energy work, trigger point therapy & myofascial release, Thai yoga massage to achieve pain relief and stress management. I take a holistic approach and work on the whole body to bring about balance using reiki.
I am also a Functional Breathing coach with the The Oxygen Advantage®.

My Approach
As a massage therapist, I have worked in almost every capacity. Massage clinics, physical therapy clinics, health clubs and spas, private practice, as well as teaching . I have learned incredible techniques and strategies from each of my experiences and incorporate all what I have learned in each and every massage I carry out. In my 30 years as a massage therapist, I have never stopped growing, I love and thrive on evolving into the best therapist I can be. I am currently based out of Aldeburgh in Suffolk, where I also teach breathing classes and occasionally work on my family. If they're good.
A North London girl, I qualified in Aromatherapy at college back in 1995 where I started my adventure with massage therapy. Studying anatomy and physiology for 3 years, I am proud to boast that, at the time, training with Nitya Lacroix was the leading school for advanced massage and soft tissue techniques in London. I couldn't have dreamed of a better education.
