I specialise in deep tissue massage, which is a highly effective technique for releasing muscle tension, improving circulation, and reducing pain. I am highly skilled and trained in this technique and will tailor the massages to your specific needs.

Pain Management

Bringing the relaxation and wellness of massage to you, wherever you are on holiday in Aldeburgh or a resident. Whether you're looking to unwind after a long day of sightseeing or seeking relief from muscle pain and tension.

Relax & Unwind

The body can survive for days without water and weeks without food. But without the breath, it will die within minutes. For health and in sports, functional breathing often forms the missing link in terms of fitness and quality of life. It’s cost-effective and suitable for everyone. Despite this, mainstream diets, supplements, and fitness trends have long outstripped breath coaching in popularity. That is beginning to change…

I am not your typical massage therapist.

My name is Heather. And I am not your typical massage therapist. After 30 years of experience and thousands of clients, I have learned that massage therapy is SO MUCH more than a relaxing experience at a spa. I see soft tissue as more  than merely a physical element but as a deeply complex, neurologically driven part of who you are. I use this knowledge to work WITH you — not ON you — to create change that works. This is the basis of my approach.

Deep tissue massage is a massage technique that’s mainly used to treat musculoskeletal issues. It involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues. This helps to break up scar tissue that forms following an injury and reduce tension in muscle and tissue.

Deep Tissue

Sports massage is a type of deep tissue massage that promotes blood flow and deep muscular relaxation. I use various techniques including; deep-tissue massage, trigger point therapy and stretching. You should experience reduced pain, improved circulation and increased mobility.

Sports Massage

Combining Thai stretching with the deep pressure and relaxation of Swedish massage will untie tension in your body. To start warming up the body with Thai stretches followed by spreading massage oil to remove tensions. The combination of these techniques will relieve stressful lesions along the body and relaxes the muscles to help specific problems, such as chronic muscle pain & injury rehabilitation.

Combination

Energy healing has often been seen as a new and somewhat unexplained theory. Fortunately, the technique is so simple that it’s been used as an effective bodywork method for centuries.

Energy work can be described as promoting, restoring, and maintaining health and wellness by supporting the body’s spiritual needs. It uses positive energy to promote healing in your body, heart, mind, and spirit.

Energy Healing

Aromatherapy treatments have both physiological and psychological effects. The combination of massage and the medicinal and therapeutic qualities of the essential oils (molecules both inhaled [aroma] and absorbed through the skin) can soothe, revitalise, uplift the spirit, encourage positive thinking and boost the immune system enabling the body to heal itself.

Pain Management Education

Movement is one of the most basic foundations of our health, wellness and, well, let's face it, our happiness. I have always kept up to date on the latest health trends and swim in the North Sea most days, as long as the waves let me!

Heather came to us whilst we were staying in Thorpeness on holiday for a couples massage. It was my first massage, and Heather was really lovely - she put me at ease straight away, and talked through everything. She left us both extremely chilled.

I got recommended to Heather a while ago as I had a golf injury. She knew exactly what the problem was & how to correct it. Her knowledge blew me away. She put my mind at rest instantly & before long was back enjoying a round of golf pain free.
